There's a really cute plaza near our condo that's a short walking distance away. It looks like a little piece of China! Such a cute place to just wonder around in. The coy fish ponds are so beautiful. They seem to be huge in Hawaii. There are little shops and restaurants all around. This colorful pencil dress was a perfect fit for this place. It was as if I blended right in. Will definitely miss every bit of Honolulu. So much character around the Island which makes it all so unique and special. Life's to short not to travel and explore. So pack your bags and get on the road!!

 Friday night life here in Honolulu is amazing. Every Friday night just after sunset, for the next few minutes, the sky over Waikiki Beach lights up in colors. We were sitting on the warm sand, listening to the sound of crashing waves with other families all really excited for the night lights. I only snapped one quick picture on my cell phone when the show just began to share with you!! Living in the moment and enjoying romantic evenings is better without technology. To make a memory just takes two. Live in the moment. The end of the show was incredible. The water looked unbelievably beautiful with lights slowly trickling down as they're about to touch the water. It's as if we were living a moment out from a movie scene.

Vadim and I love walking around town especially in the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Tiki torches on every corner, live music and local entertainment every single night. Living here for the passed three months have truly been a dream. One of my favorite places we've ever been to. I used to always say that Washington had the most prettiest sunsets. That was before I've ever been to Hawaii. They're a pretty close tie though! I'm one of those girls who enjoys a nice walk along the beach with some tea or coffee, hand in hand with my one and only and the view of a beautiful sunset. Hawaii, you do not disappoint.

 

I couldn't have worn a more perfect dress for the evening! Absolutely love this scalloped v-neck vintage fit and flare cocktail dress. It's a perfect fit! I'm wearing a size small and it still leaves you with plenty of breathing (and eating) room. The material of this dress is Rayon, Nylon and Spandex which is stretchy, classy and high quality fabric that's really soft to the touch. The flare makes this dress more comfortable and the length keeps it classy. I was very impressed that it still felt so light and airy, after wearing it for hours! It's a perfect vintage dress for any classy event or date night.

 

I usually always go for a diamond necklace or a locket when dressing up to keep it simple, clean and classy. When it came to choose between my go to favorites or this pretty piece, I didn't have to think twice. This necklace was designed for Nordstrom by Ettika and available on nordstrom.com. The slight change really did complete the dress. The triple tiered necklace keeps it clean and could be worn with so many different styles. I'm excited to dress it up and dress it down. More ways to style this gem will be sure to come!

Hawaii is truly a dream. So blessed to be living here with my dreamy husband! We'll be leaving back home in just a few weeks which makes me miss this place already... The passed three months have flew by so fast. But, I'm excited to see where we'll be adventuring next! :)

A little over a month ago, I started using TruSelf Organics Detoxifying Facial Mask and I promised an honest review, so here it is!

 

I've always been on the search for a good mask. I'm sure we all have been. My first thought when I started using this mask was "I hope this doesn't make me breakout like every other mask I've tried". My skin seems to be more oily than dry/normal, also very sensitive. I've been very skeptical on trying new things on my face because anything that I've tried before from make-up, moisturizers, lotions, face washes and of course masks, would make my face breakout. When I find something that works great with my skin (no irritations, breakouts or make my face even more oily) I stick to it and don't really like trying anything new. But since I was still searching for a good mask, I decided to give this one a try.

Cons:

the smell

(when applying the mask, to me it smells kind of awful. But once it's on and drying it goes away)

 

As any other mask, if you have any breakouts or even slightly exposed open cuts, it will sting a little just for slight moment and then it instantly stops. (just a heads up for that as well) I stated off with leaving the mask on my face for about 10-15 minutes. Now I leave it on for about 20-25 minutes. When washing the mask off, I use a small damp towel and gently dab on my face so the mask softens up and comes off easier. I think using a towel with warm water is better than rubbing it off your face with your hands because you don't want the oils from your fingers and palms to be absorbed into your open pores. After the mask is off, your face might be slightly red (depending on how long you leave the mask on) but that goes away within 5-10 minutes.

 

I absolutely LOVE this mask and I'm honestly surprised that I do. My husband uses it with me every single time. I've only been using it once a week for now because I want my skin to fully get used to the process. I'll soon be bumping it up to two times a week. I did NOT breakout afterwards and that says a lot to me. I feel like it helps suck up all that gunk on your faces to the surface and if you have breakouts, it medicates it. I highly recommend this mask. I know I'll be buying one for my mom this Mother's Day because I've been raving about how awesome this mask is.

I love dresses that are truly comfortable and gorgeous. This dress makes it to my favorites! It's a simple black dress but, has a few things that make it better than just your average little black dress. The back v-line makes this dress sexy.

This has been my go to for dressy date nights out with my man. Every girl loves to feel beautiful, attractive and wanted. A simple black dress could do all the above!
